Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

By creating an account or using Teacher Task Manager ("the Service", "the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Who can use the Service

Teacher Task Manager is intended exclusively for school staff — teachers, teaching assistants, and other school employees. It is not designed for or available to students. By creating an account you confirm that you are a school staff member aged 16 or over.

Account creation may require a school email address. We reserve the right to refuse or remove accounts that do not meet eligibility criteria.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not share your account credentials.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your personal data and task data will be removed within a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Policy.

3. Free and Pro plans

The Service offers a Free plan and a Pro plan:

Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Subscriptions and cancellation

Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

If a payment fails, we may suspend your Pro access until the payment is resolved.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Content you create

You own the task data and notes you create in the Service. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data in order to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or make changes to features at any time. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or lost productivity.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
